THE IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIZATION :

In an attempt to highlight the importance of organization in the careers of architecture students, we present this research paper conducted in Malaysia, where 250 architecture firms were surveyed about the soft skills they consider crucial for architects.

How can we acquire these soft skills?

The obvious answer is through planning. There are two main approaches: the first is planning using handwritten notes, and the second is using digital tools. The first method, relying on handwritten notes, presents several disadvantages .

Discovering NOTION and OBSIDIAN :

Notion :

Notion is a versatile digital workspace designed to help individuals and teams organize their time, tasks, projects, and knowledge in one platform.

Here are a few examples of how I use Notion personally. (these are the examples that were shared during the class.)

Obsidian :

Obsidian is the private and flexible writing app that adapts to the way you think. It stores notes on your devices, so you can access them quickly, even offline. No one else can read them, not even Obsidian’s owners.

NB: these examples are based on the methodology of the book "GTD" applied via the powerful tool that is Obsidian. (these are the examples that were shared during the class.)
